Active humidity control. Dehumidifiers handle the main living areas; the goal is to hold relative humidity between 45–55%. But they only work if emptied or drained.
Moisture absorbers in enclosed spaces. Wardrobes, storage rooms and cupboards benefit from absorbers — provided they're replaced before they saturate (a matter of weeks).
